Wickham's Fruit Farm

Wickham's fruit is grown on some of the oldest continually cultivated land in the country, much of the farm dating from 1661. It is one of the largest farms on the North Fork, approximately 300 acres, of which 200 acres are in fruit, all of which is retailed at the farm. A very large proportion of Wickham farm land has been placed in Suffolk County's Farmland Preservation program, which means that for generations to come, this land is "forever agriculture." Visit the farm stand for fresh produce, baked goods, preserves and cheeses, or to pick your own seasonal fruits including berries, apples and pumpkins.

67 Steps Beach & Parking

Does a staircase of 67 steps scare you? The number may seem big, but this picturesque staircase leads you to one of the tranquil beaches along the coast of Long Island Sound. The date when the stairs were built seems to be a little vague, though they did feature on postcards in 1915. The beach is quite secluded, yet a popular spot to view the setting sun. Families often come here for a mid-afternoon dip, to enjoy a quiet picnic, or for an evening walk to watch the sunset.
